A walk through the ancient alerce forest of Lahuen Ñadi, guided by people who experience it in a way most of us never have. With your eyes closed, the forest changes completely.
At Lahuen Ñadi Natural Monument, the alerce trees have been growing for more than a thousand years on soils that retain water and shape everything that lives there.
In this experience, you walk part of the trail with your eyes closed. Your guide does not need to see the forest to know it: they perceive it through sound, touch, scent, and the movement of the air, describing what they sense as you walk.
It is a different way of entering the landscape.
By the end, the forest you see with your eyes open is no longer the same.
