Visit to the home of Señora Yola and her son Carlos on the shores of the Reloncaví Estuary. Arrival and return are by boat across the estuary. The visit includes a walk around the farm, meeting the animals, and exploring the family museum of carpentry tools, followed by lunch made with produce from the garden and freshly baked homemade bread.
Señora Yola and her son Carlos live on the shores of the Reloncaví Estuary. Their home is reached by water.
You board at Rollizo Cove and navigate north across the estuary to their property.
Before lunch, you walk around the farm: the animals, the garden, and a small family museum where the carpentry tools once used by Yola’s father and grandfather are preserved. Each object has a story, which she shares at an unhurried pace while Carlos shows you around the property.
Lunch is served inside the house or outdoors, depending on the group’s preferences and the weather. Homemade bread, seasonal produce, and recipes passed down through generations.
The return journey is also by water.
